Jim Gath, Executive Director of Cave Creek’s Tierra Madre Horse Sanctuary, will be performing in concert at Cave Creek CoffeeCompany (C4) on Saturday evening, May 14th. Joining Gath on the bill will be locally well-known musician & fellow Creeker, Ernie Bunch. All proceeds from the evening’s gate will go to Tierra Madre, the ‘forever’ home to 34 previously abandoned, neglected, injured or abused horses.
“I have a whole repertoire of original songs and I don’t play a bad guitar”, says Gath. “And I figured that I might as well put it all to good use and sing for my horses’ supper, so to speak.”
Cave Creek Coffee Company is also well-known in the area for hosting a wide array of live music. “Todd Newman and the folks at C4 have been great to us over the years”, says Gath. “They’ve supported a number of our initiatives and I hope this will be the most successful one yet.”
The concert begins at 7:30PM, with the doors opening at 7.
The donation is $20 and Tierra Madre Horse Sanctuary is a 501(c)(3) charitable organization.
